That’s why we offer three ways to pay, so you can choose the payment method that suits you. If you want to spread the cost of your oil deliveries, our Monthly Payment Plan could be for you—an easy and stress-free way to spread the cost of heating oil throughout the year. Rather than facing a large one-off payment for each delivery, you can now balance your heating expenses with predictable monthly payments. Our plan is designed to help ease the financial burden, allowing you to budget more effectively for your heating needs while keeping your home warm and comfortable.

A way that works for you

Cotswold Petroleum offers three ways to pay for your domestic heating oil

1. Pre-payment prior to delivery (standard)

At the point of ordering, we’ll take payment over the phone using a credit or debit card. To do this, we’ll place a pre-authorisation on the card for the volume ordered, and then payment is taken following delivery once we have finalised the actual delivered volume.

For online orders, pre-payment is currently the only payment method available.

2. Direct Debit

Make payment quick and simple with a Direct Debit. After we’ve received a Direct Debit form from you, we’ll be able to take payment automatically following your delivery.

3. Monthly Payment Plan

A way to spread the cost of home heating oil across the year, with a monthly payment plan you will pay a monthly amount via standing order. Following your delivery, we’ll simply take the cost of the fuel that you needed from this available credit, covering any shortfall within the planned payments for the upcoming three months. If your planned payments won’t cover the total within 3 months, we’ll ask for a top-up payment.
